“To control the problems occurred during the application of fuel like FO, SKO, LDC etc is the main purpose of using OLKLIN-FA.'
Vanadium is a common contaminant in fuel (black) oils. When these fuels are combusted, vanadium forms (primarily) vanadium pentoxide (V2O5). Vanadium pentoxide melts about 675ºC. When it is molten, vanadium pentoxide behaves as an excellent solvent for the metal oxides that high temperature alloys form to protect their surfaces. When in a molten state and while a solvent, vanadium pentoxide strips away these oxides. The metal surface atoms respond by forming a new layer of oxide coating which is again stripped away. As the process continues, the metal surface undergoes corrosion as each successive layer is stripped away. OLKLIN-FA fuel additive mainly produced to control high temperature corrosion and discharge other functions too to achieve highest fuel performance.
OLKLIN-FA is a complex blend of additives like octane number booster, antiknock agent, freezing point depressant, antioxidant (corrosion inhibitors), de-icing agents, Combustion chamber deposit modifiers, anti-gumming agents etc.
*Properties mentioned and color shown in the photo above is for general idea of the product. Actual product property may vary.
OLKLIN-FA is completely oil soluble and should be added in to the suction side of the pump. Alternatively, it can be added into the storage tank.
As a general guide, the average dosage should be 1 Liter of OLKLIN-FA with 3000 liters of fuel oil (1:3000). Alteration can then be made according to operating experience and result obtained.
Store in Cool & Dry place away from direct sunlight.
Before handling the product, refer material safety data sheet which contains detailed information about this product (available on request).
